Infratil Confirms Discussions About Possible Acquisition of Vodafone New Zealand

Infratil Ltd. said Friday it was confirming that the company and
another party are discussing a possible acquisition of Vodafone New
Zealand from Vodafone Group PLC (VOD).
Infratil said it made the announcement "following recent media
speculation."
Infratil said discussions with Vodafone and financiers are
ongoing and might not result in a transaction.
