--Privacy activist Max Schrems filed complaints alleging eight streaming services are violating European privacy law, Fortune and Reuters reported Friday.

--Mr. Schrems alleges that Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) Apple Music, Netflix Inc. (NFLX), Alphabet Inc.'s (GOOG, GOOGL) YouTube and others didn't properly comply with user requests about the use of their information as required under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.

--The complaints were filed with an Austrian regulator, the reports said.
