CRON Cronos Group Inc

Cannabis company Cronos Group Inc. (CRON) confirmed that it is in talks to receive a potential investment from Altria Group Inc. (MO).

Reuters reported earlier Monday that Altria was in early-stage talks to buy Cronos. Shares of Cronos rose more than 11% during the regular session, and were up 7.7% to $10.95 after hours.

Cronos said no agreement has been reached and "there can be no assurance such discussions will lead to an investment or other transaction involving the companies."
