   In the south, long grain milled rice prices mostly steady, instances 1.00 
higher in Arkansas; medium grain milled rice prices steady.  Parboiled prices 
steady.  Second heads mostly steady, instances 1.25 higher in Arkansas. 
Brewers rice steady.  Rice by-products: Rice Bran prices mostly steady, 
instances 10.00 lower in Arkansas; Millfeed and Rice Hulls steady. 
   In California, medium grain milled rice prices steady to weak.  Second heads 
and Brewers steady to firm.  Rice by-products: Rice Bran steady.  Rice hull 
market not established. 
   CME Rough Rice settlements for Tuesday 13th, Jan 19 closed .25 higher at 
10.90; Mar 19 closed .245 higher at 11.07.  US dollar index settled at 97.19.
