Linde AG (LINU.XE) said Monday that the cash compensation in a squeeze-out of minority shareholders is expected to be 188.24 euros ($217.5) for each Linde share if its proposed merger with Praxair Inc. (PX) is successful.

Linde and Praxair have been pursuing a merger for about two years, a combination that would create an entity with a market capitalization of nearly $80 billion and annual revenue of more than $30 billion.

"The final determination of the cash compensation by Linde Intermediate Holding AG will occur after the finalization of the valuation and auditing activities," Linde said.
