-- A former content moderator for Facebook Inc. (FB) filed a
lawsuit against the company, alleging it doesn't provide adequate
protection to workers whose job includes reviewing upsetting
content, Reuters reports Monday.
-- The ex-employee, a contract worker, said content moderators
face mental trauma after seeing images and broadcasts of disturbing
activities, including "torture" and "suicide and murder," the
report said.
-- An attorney for the former worker is seeking class-action
status for the suit, the report said.
-- Facebook didn't immediately respond to a request for comment,
according to the report.
