Morgan Stanley Sues Six Brokers Who Left to Work for Rival -Reuters

--Morgan Stanley is suing six of its former employees, brokers who left to join competitor Stifel Nicolaus, alleging they are in violation of their employment agreements, Reuters reports Thursday.

--The lawsuit claims the six brokers apparently took files and information when they left Morgan Stanley, and that they have been soliciting Morgan Stanley clients, in violation of signed agreements, the report says.

--The lawsuit also says the brokers may have been making false claims about Morgan Stanley, the report said.
