--Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) approached refiners to talk long-term U.S. crude export deals, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing "people familiar with the matter."

--Exxon has approached several refiners to discuss contracts for exports of Permian Basin light, sweet crude, the report said, adding talks are in early stages.

--Exxon has been talking to buyers in Asia because its Permian production is scheduled to ramp up, Bloomberg reported, citing "a person familiar with the talks".
