Salesforce.com Inc. (CRM) has agreed to buy marketing intelligence and analytics platform Datorama, a move expected to help its efforts to provide brands with "more personalized and connected customer experiences."

Salesforce said the deal complements recent initiatives like its integration with Google Analytics 360.

Statements from Salesforce and Datorama didn't state the deal price.

In 2016, Datorama said it closed $32 million in Series C funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, increasing its total funding to $50 million, and said valuation wasn't disclosed.

In May, Salesforce bought MuleSoft Inc., a deal with an enterprise value of about $6.5 billion.
