Facebook Inc., Google's YouTube and Twitter Inc.'s representatives are expected to testify next week about their companies' content-moderation practices at a second Congressional hearing on filtering practices of social-media platforms.

Separate hearings have been held on suspected Russian use of social media platforms to meddle in the 2016 presidential election and on data misuse.

Next week's hearing, before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday morning, will focus on transparency and potential bias, according to the agenda posted Friday.

Monika Bickert, Facebook's head of global policy management, Juniper Downs, YouTube's global head of public policy and government relations, and Nick Pickles, Twitter's senior strategist for public policy, are expected to testify.

A spokesman for Facebook confirmed Ms. Bickert will testify Tuesday.

Representatives for YouTube, a unit of Alphabet Inc.'s Google, and for Twitter couldn't be immediately reached for comment.

"I am pleased that the leading social media companies have agreed to send content management experts to answer questions on their content moderation practices and how they can be better stewards of free speech in the United States and abroad," Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R., Va.) said in a statement.
