ABM Named One of America’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare
June 29 2018 - 8:00AM
ABM (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of facility solutions, is
proud to announce its selection as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best
Places to Work in Healthcare 2018. This is the sixth time since
2010 that ABM has appeared on this list, and been recognized as an
outstanding employer in the healthcare industry nationwide.
“Our talented associates are engaged and passionate about
enhancing the patient experience. ABM is honored to be recognized
for the sixth time as a Best Places to Work in Healthcare,” stated
Dan Bowen, President of Healthcare at ABM. “This, along with our
Gallup survey results validate our employee engagement strategies
and the programs we have in place. Our dedicated and skilled teams
remain committed to pursuing our mission: To Make a Difference,
Every Person, Every Day.”
Award recipients were judged on eight core areas: overall
employee engagement, work environment, role satisfaction, employee
/ supervisor relationships, culture and communications, leadership
and planning, pay and benefits, and training and development.
“Whether on the frontline or in the top office, healthcare
employees witness moments that can either inspire or dishearten
them. That can take a toll on an individual and healthcare
organizations must take extra steps to ensure that highs and lows
during the workday don’t impact engagement or performance,” said
Modern Healthcare Editor Aurora Aguilar. “This year’s best places
to work, voted on by the employees themselves, exemplify what it
takes to maintain dedication and satisfaction among its employees
and that is the key to good patient care. Congratulations to this
year’s winners and we look forward to celebrating with you in
September.”
