ADRs of Chinese e-commerce retailer JD.com Inc. (JD) were up 7.3% in pre-market trading to $46.75 after Alphabet Inc.'s (GOOG) Google said it invested $550 million in the company. Google bought about 27 million newly issued shares of Nasdaq-listed JD.com at $40.58 each. The deal puts Google's stake in JD.com at about 1%. (austen.hufford@wsj.com; @austenhufford)
