--Activist investor Elliott is building a stake in Germany's Thyssenkrupp and would like to replace Chief Executive Heinrich Hiesinger, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

--Elliott may cross the threshold of 3% or 5% in the coming weeks, and would then have to disclose its position, the sources said, according to Bloomberg.
