Shares of tech companies rose as trade fears subsided. Shares of Tesla, which had been under pressure, rebounded as analysts at brokerage Berenberg forecast a rosier future for the electric-car maker than some investors had feared. Qualcomm and Facebook said they were collaborating on a high-speed Internet service.
