In summary, short interest in all 3,219 Nasdaq® securities totaled 7,943,675,031 shares at the February 28, 2018 settlement date, compared with 3,207 issues and 7,966,702,756 shares at the end of the previous reporting period. This is 3.63 days average daily volume, compared with an average of 3.22 days for the previous reporting period.
