(1)  This transaction is pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 stock trading plan adopted by Anand Vadapalli and Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. on August 28, 2017 for a total of 123,754 shares of ALSK stock. The sale reported on this Form 4 is for 10,000 shares, and as of the date of this transaction, a total of 90,000 shares have been sold under the plan.
