On November 17, 2017, P. Kelly Tompkins announced that he will retire as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., effective December 31, 2017.

A copy of the press release relating to the planned retirement of Mr. Tompkins is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
