EXPLANATORY NOTE

On November 1, 2017, SodaStream International Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its third quarter results for the period ended September 30, 2017. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 herewith.

In conjunction with the conference call being held on November 1, 2017, the Company also is releasing a PowerPoint presentation with additional information relating to the third quarter results for the period ended September 30, 2017, furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.2.
