SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* is
donating $250,000 to aid local
charities and relief organizations in areas impacted by
California wildfires. As fire
conditions and community needs continue to develop, AT&T is
working with local officials to direct the funding to the local
nonprofit organizations where it will have the greatest impact in
communities affected by wildfires.

connected, and we've been working around the clock with first
responders to help impacted communities through this crisis," said

AT&T has also activated a text-to-give campaign benefiting
American Red Cross to help support relief efforts in communities
affected by California wildfires.

AT&T Community Response Teams are also assisting customers
and evacuees at shelters in Napa,
Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sonoma, and Yuba
City providing wifi, charging solutions, phones for use,
account support, live news via DIRECTV Now, and snacks and
water.
Free AT&T PREPAID phones with a $25 pin are also available while supplies
last for landline customers without wireless service,
available at shelter locations via our community response teams, or
at AT&T retail locations.
