MONROE, La., Oct. 6, 2017 /CNW/ -- Vernon Irvin,
CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) senior vice president, has been
appointed to Colorado Technology Association's (CTA) Board of
Directors. In this role, Irvin will help advance the state's tech
community by leveraging his 20 years of executive leadership
expertise in communications services.

instrumental in advocating on behalf of the technology industry
statewide," Irvin said. "I look forward to working with other local

In his role at CenturyLink, Irvin leads a team of more than
1,000 sales and marketing professionals who focus on growing the
company's business through a portfolio of data, voice, hosting,
cloud computing, managed and IT services. Irvin's role and
responsibilities will increase upon the completion of CenturyLink's
acquisition of Level 3 Communications, Inc.; in June, he was named
president of CenturyLink's business unit that will focus on small
and midsize business, state and local government, and
education.
Irvin is also active in the Denver community and serves on the board of
directors for Mile High United Way, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the
Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc.
