Item 8.01. Other Events.

On October 4, 2017, Amicus Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that additional positive data in its Pompe Disease Phase 1/2 study will be presented at the 22 nd International Congress of the World Muscle Society in a late-breaker poster. A copy of this press release and poster is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. The Company will also host a conference call and webcast on October 4, 2017 to discuss these results. A copy of the conference call presentation materials is also attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2.
