Northern Trust Appoints St. Louis President

Northern Trust Wealth Management announced today that Clint
Zweifel has been appointed President of Northern Trust Wealth
Management – Missouri.
Zweifel joined the company in February of this year as Chief
Operating Officer-Missouri and his responsibilities have expanded
to lead the Missouri-based team. The role was previously held by
Thomas Collins, who continues to serve as Northern Trust Wealth
Management Chairman-Missouri. The office offers investment
management, trust administration and banking services for
individuals, families and endowments.

Missouri market and of the financial services business due to the
three terms he served as a member of Missouri’s state House of
Representatives and his eight years as Missouri Treasurer,” said

Before joining Northern Trust as Chief Operating Officer in St.
Louis, Zweifel served as Missouri 45th State Treasurer from 2009 to
2017. As Treasurer, he managed a $3.5 billion portfolio, led the
state’s banking system and worked on a variety of issues such as
retirement security, small business, agriculture, college savings,
military installations and housing. Prior to this, he was a member
of the State House of Representatives from 2002 to 2009, serving as
a ranking member of the Ways and Means committee.
His service has included chairing the Missouri Military
Partnership, Pension and Trust Committee of the National
Association of State Treasurers and serving as a member of the
Missouri Board of Fund Commissioners. He serves on the board of the
Clark-Fox Policy Institute in the George Warren Brown School of
Social Work at Washington University in Saint Louis and also serves
as a board member of the Concord Coalition, a non-partisan
organization advocating for responsible fiscal policy.
Additionally, he and his wife, Janice, have served as foster
parents and been active in child advocacy issues.
A lifelong Missouri resident, Zweifel attended the University of
Missouri at St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in
political science and an MBA.
He will continue to be based in Northern Trust’s St. Louis
