“By coordinating these projects closely with the Borough of Oaklyn and Voorhees Township, we are looking forward to making these critical investments,” stated Dave Forcinito, senior director of Southwest Operations. “By proactively upgrading aging infrastructure, we are continuing our commitment to ensuring quality and service for our customers.”

Construction is expected to be completed by March 31, 2018 with final street restoration being completed in the spring of 2018. New Jersey American Water values the safety of its workers and advises drivers and pedestrians to take caution in the vicinity of work sites.

Forcinito added these improvements are part of New Jersey American Water’s multimillion-dollar program to accelerate the renewal of water infrastructure that is reaching the end of its useful life in more than 100 communities across the state.

New Jersey American Water has recently published an interactive Infrastructure Upgrade Map on its website to share details about its pipeline renewal projects, including these projects in Oaklyn and Voorhees. The map is located at www.newjerseyamwater.com under Water Quality, System Updates.
