Expansion Represents Continued Growth of International Wholesale Business for the Brooklyn-based Home Furnishings Brand

West Elm, the purpose-driven, Brooklyn, New York-based home furnishings retailer and member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio of brands (NYSE:WSM), today announced it will begin wholesale operations in Ireland with the opening of a branded shop-in-shop at Arnotts, Ireland’s oldest department store. The 1,100 sq. ft. shop-in-shop space will open this October on the second floor of Arnotts’ Henry Street location in Dublin simultaneously with a branded online shop at arnotts.ie. West Elm will be bringing an assortment of over 90 different products with furniture and accessories for the living room, dining room and bedroom. The partnership marks West Elm’s second European wholesale venture following its launch with John Lewis in 2015, a partnership which has grown to include 13 UK locations and online at JohnLewis.com.

“The new Arnotts space will be the largest West Elm wholesale shop-in-shop to date, with more than seven lifestyle rooms and concepts that best express our Mid-century and New Modern aesthetics. The growth of our international wholesale business is exciting for us and allows us to introduce West Elm, who we are and what we stand for to customers in a new part of the world,” said West Elm president, Alex Bellos.
