NEW YORK, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Houston, Global President of Grey, today
announced that Alex Morrison has
joined Grey to lead Grey West, both the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, with a 50-person staff, a
new position.
This is a homecoming for Morrison who served as Senior Vice
President, Digital Marketing of Grey New York from 2012 to 2014,
where he helped create its content studio. Most recently, he
has worked at R/GA as Vice President, Global Managing Director
overseeing its content studio, an integrated model, across 10
offices.

A digital entrepreneur, Alex
Morrison has co-founded several companies including NYCUG, a
New York-based music publisher and
events company, and CrowdTrotter, a social travel company. He
later spent three years at J. Walter Thompson in account management
working on such clients as Schick-Wilkinson
Sword, JetBlue, Rock the Vote and the Ad Council and became
their in-house digital evangelist.
Prior to Grey, Morrison was a Partner and Executive Vice
President of Strategy at AgencyNet for four years. A thought
leader in the digital and social sphere, he has been a commentator
in media such as ADWEEK and E-marketer.
