Navigant (NYSE: NCI) has been named to the 2017 list of
America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes magazine. This marks the
second consecutive year Navigant has been recognized by the
magazine as a top employer.
Forbes, in partnership with Statista.com, conducted an online
survey of more than 30,000 American workers spanning midsize and
large U.S. companies. The willingness to recommend one's own
employer on a scale of 0-10 was given the most weight in the
survey. Secondarily, employees were asked to mention good or bad
employers in other sectors/industries other than their own.
“I am proud that Navigant continues to be noted as one of the
best places to work, not only in our profession, but across all
industry sectors,” said Julie Howard, chairman and CEO of Navigant.
“The company’s commitment to attracting, retaining, and developing
the best talent, while building a culture that encourages excellent
client service and collaboration, is vital to our success.”
Navigant was also recognized among the 2017 America’s Best
Management Consulting Firms by Forbes magazine. The firm was
highlighted in 15 categories overall — 10 industry sectors
including healthcare, financial institutions, and energy, as well
as several functional areas, including strategy, finance, and risk
management.
Navigant’s investments in professional development, and its
culture that encourages the open exchange of ideas, diversity, and
inclusion, have helped establish the firm among “America’s Best
Midsize Employers.”
The firm’s most recent employee engagement survey showed record
engagement, driven by a continued focus on employees’ personal
development and growth. The survey revealed that 93 percent of
Navigant’s global workforce feels personally motivated to
contribute to the firm’s success.
Community outreach and volunteerism contribute positively to
Navigant’s culture. Navigant’s 1Mx2020 campaign is a firm-wide goal
to positively impact one million youth by the year 2020 by
preparing them for college and their professional careers.
In addition, Navigant offices across the globe champion local
diversity and inclusion activities by sponsoring informational
events with a focus on cultural education and valuing differences.
In 2016, Navigant earned its eighth consecutive perfect score on
the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality
Index.
