provider in kidney care services, welcomes George R. Aronoff, MD, MS, FACP as vice
president of clinical affairs for its U.S. hemodialysis operations
and member of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer on
DaVita Kidney Care's physician
leadership team.

Dr. Aronoff served as Chief of the Division of Nephrology and
Hypertension at the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine.
His academic research focused on individualization of drug therapy
in patients with decreased kidney function. Members of his
laboratory have explored the use of artificial intelligence in the
dosing of drugs used to treat anemia in dialysis patients.

Dr. Aronoff graduated from Indiana
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and
received his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana
University School of Medicine, where he also completed a
Master of Science degree in pharmacology and his training in
internal medicine and nephrology.
Prior to working at DaVita, Dr. Aronoff was the chief medical
officer of, recently acquired, Renal Ventures Management, LLC for
four years. Dr. Aronoff has served on the board of directors
for both the Renal Physician Association and the Kidney Health
Initiative, a public‐private partnership of the American Society of
Nephrology and the Food and Drug Administration of the United States.
