New brand campaign underscores Boost’s
commitment to empowering customers to get the most they can out of
a wireless plan
Boost Mobile introduces its new brand campaign, “Project
Switch.” With its “Boost makes it easy to switch. Switching to
Boost makes it easy to save.” tagline, the new national marketing
and advertising campaign encourages customers to make the switch to
Boost by highlighting just how easy it is to switch, and how
switching makes it easy to save.
The new TV spot makes its premiere today in major markets,
including Los Angeles, New York, Dallas and Miami. The ads were
shot in a Boost Mobile Next Generation store, a new retail concept
that is all about creating an atmosphere where people can better
interact with staff in a modern, design-forward setting, while
easily learning about products and services. The elevated stores
are more streamlined and provide the customer clarity on phones,
current offers and promotions. Boost Mobile expects to open more
than 1,000 Next Generation stores by year end.
“Project Switch” highlights customer pain points with competing
carriers and how switching to Boost is the solution. Not only
does Boost help resolve category issues but Boost also makes
it easy to switch. “Project Switch” is also supported with the
introduction of a new multi-line offer, 4 Lines for $1001 each with
unlimited gigs of high-speed data2. With MetroPCS, customers only
get two gigs of high-speed data per line for the same $100. In
addition, consumers who make the switch are also eligible for four
free phones3.

The “Make the Switch” spot will air in both English and Spanish
as :15 and :30 versions on network and cable properties such as CW,
ABC, Fox, NBC, Univision, Telemundo, MTV, VH1, TNT, TBS, USA, E!,
ESPN, BET, Unimas, NBC Universo, and ESPN Deportes. The commercial
was directed by Chris Hooper, known for creating engaging comedic
moments in campaigns for Buffalo Wild Wings, DirecTV and Walmart.
The full campaign will also include out-of-home and digital
advertising.
The “Project Switch” campaign was developed and produced in
partnership with Schiefer Chopshop, a full-service media and
creative agency in Irvine, Calif., which developed the campaign for
television, radio, out-of-home, digital advertising, and social
media advertising.
