CIBC's Client Solutions team will look at ways to support those impacted, including:

  • Deferring payments on mortgages, loans and credit card bills;
  • Re-amortizing mortgage payments to lower monthly costs; or
  • Crediting client accounts for any fees caused by overdrafts, insufficient funds, early withdrawals on term deposits or use of non-CIBC bank machines; and,
  • Customized accommodations for commercial clients

CIBC is accepting Spring Floods Appeal donations at our banking centres across Canada on behalf of the Canadian Red Cross, effective May 11. To directly support impacted populations inside Québec, donations should be made to Spring Floods Appeal, Québec Designation.
