ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

On May 9, 2017, Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company” or "Pacific Premier") (NASDAQ: PPBI), the holding company of Pacific Premier Bank, issued a press release announcing that members of its executive management team will participate in D.A. Davidson's 19th Annual FIG Summit & Financial Institutions Conference on May 10-11, 2017, in Denver, Colorado, and Piper Jaffray's Financial Institutions Conference on May 16-17, 2017, in Palm Beach, Florida. At both conferences, the executives from Pacific Premier Bancorp will hold a series of meetings with institutional investors. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

The Company is filing an investor presentation relating to its first quarter of 2017 (the “Presentation”), which will be used by the Company's executive management team for presentations to investors and others. The Presentation replaces and supersedes investor presentation materials previously furnished as an exhibit to the Company’s Current Reports on Form 8-K.

A copy of the Presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated herein by reference. The Presentation is also available on the Company’s web site at www.ppbi.com.
