SILVER SPRING, Md.,
April 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/
-- On the heels of the controversial decision to carry
out its first execution in more than a decade in the State of Arkansas last evening, Investigation
Discovery (ID) announced today it will encore all four episodes of
the series, KILLING RICHARD GLOSSIP this
Sunday, April 23 from 12pm-4pm ET. The real-time docu-series
features yet another death row case that has captured the world's
attention, presenting controversial and time sensitive new evidence
pointing to the innocence of death row inmate Richard Glossip in Oklahoma. Viewers are encouraged to send in
any tips to http://www.richardglossip.com. The successful premiere
of the docu-series earlier this week on the network averaged a
reach of more than 4.2M unique viewers across all four episodes,
with strong viewership in the Oklahoma
City area.
Additionally, all four episodes are available now on
Investigations Discovery's TV Everywhere app, ID GO, which is
available on the following platforms:

As previously announced, and ahead of the premiere earlier this
week, ID greenlit a fifth episode of KILLING RICHARD GLOSSIP to capture new developments
that come to light in the case. The new episode, which will pick up
where the series left off, is currently in production and will air
later in 2017.
KILLING RICHARD GLOSSIP,
from Academy Award®-nominated and Emmy
Award®-winning filmmaker Joe
Berlinger, follows the story of two men convicted of
murder – one on death row, and the other sentenced to life without
parole – who give two very different accounts of what led to the
slaying of Barry Van Treese on
January 7, 1997 at the Best Budget
Inn in Oklahoma City. Richard Glossip, a man with no prior felony
convictions, has consistently maintained his innocence, insisting
that he had no knowledge that anyone planned to kill Van Treese. Justin Sneed, who admitted to
killing the victim and whose fingerprints were found in the room,
cut a deal to receive a life sentence instead of risking the death
penalty by telling the police that Glossip hired him to do
it. As Glossip continues to narrowly avoid execution by the
state of Oklahoma, Berlinger's
cameras are embedded with his legal team in real-time as they race
against the clock to uncover new evidence that proves his
innocence.
KILLING RICHARD
GLOSSIP is produced for Investigation Discovery by
RadicalMedia. For RadicalMedia, Joe
Berlinger, Dave O'Connor,
