Directors of W.W. Grainger, Inc.
(NYSE: GWW) has selected a slate of nominees to serve for the
2017-2018 period. The ten candidates, all current board
members, to be voted on at the 2017 annual meeting of shareholders
are:
Rodney C. Adkins
Brian P. Anderson
V. Ann Hailey
Stuart L. Levenick
D.G. Macpherson
Neil S. Novich
Michael J. Roberts
James T. Ryan
E. Scott Santi
James D. Slavik
Gary L. Rogers will not stand for
re-election in accordance with the Company's Criteria for
Membership on the Board of Directors, which provide that an outside
director generally will not be nominated after the age of 72.
Mr. Rogers has been a Board member of Grainger since 2004 and
served as a member of the Audit, Board Affairs and Nominating, and
Compensation Committees of the Board.
