LONDON--Advertising company WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Monday that unit Ogilvy & Mather has acquired a stake in Irish digital communications agency Eightytwenty Customer Experience Ltd.

No financial details of the deal were disclosed.

WPP shares at 0923 GMT trading 0.7% lower at 1,887 pence.
