TrueBlue COO Patrick Beharelle and PeopleScout President Taryn Owen Join SIA’s “North America Staffing 100 List”

TrueBlue CEO Steve Cooper has been named to the inaugural class of the Staffing Industry Analysts’ Hall of Fame, joining an exclusive list of leaders who have had a profound impact on the staffing industry. In addition, TrueBlue President and COO Patrick Beharelle and PeopleScout President Taryn Owen were named to SIA’s Staffing 100, which was announced in the latest issue of Staffing Industry Review.

SIA describes the Staffing 100 as industry leaders who “will continue to break records, create new models of work, place people in jobs, help legislate and move the world of work forward.” This year, it created the Hall of Fame, which includes selected industry influencers who have been included on the Staffing 100 list for at least five consecutive years.

“This is a terrific honor, and it’s a privilege to be part of SIA’s first Hall of Fame class,” Cooper said. “We work hard to set a standard for the industry, both in terms of finding new ways to connect people and work and in conducting our corporate governance in an honest and ethical manner. The fact that Patrick and Taryn were both also named to the Staffing 100 list is a testament to TrueBlue’s leadership and innovation in our industry.”

SIA said it chose its first group of Hall of Fame members based on their pursuit of excellence, their desire to empower others, their ability to be persistent yet adapt in a workforce solutions ecosystem that is constantly involving, and a demonstration of integrity and strong leadership. These traits, SIA said, have enabled industry leaders such as Cooper to elevate the industry as a whole.

The Staffing 100 list includes industry leaders who are “pushing the boundaries of excellence, innovating and inspiring others including your customers to go beyond traditional models of staffing,” SIA said. Owen, who is making her first appearance on the list, has led PeopleScout through a period of tremendous worldwide growth over the past year that included the acquisition of the RPO division of Aon Hewitt and the integration of Staff Management | SMX’s MSP division.

Beharelle has overseen a 25 percent increase in revenue and is driving the organization’s digital transformation, global expansion and acquisition strategy. He has positioned TrueBlue as a leading employer of US military veterans through his work with organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project and the Veteran Talent Exchange. This is his fourth appearance on the Staffing 100 list, including in his previous position as CEO of The Seaton Companies.
