GM's Barra in Germany After Confirming in Talks with Peugeot

BERLIN--General Motors Co. Chief Executive Mary Barra and
President Dan Ammann are in Germany Wednesday for talks at the
headquarters of GM's Opel unit after the U.S. auto maker confirmed
it was in talks that could lead to a sale of its European business
to Peugeot.
A spokesman for Opel declined to provide any details about the
meeting, which is taking place at Opel's main offices in
Ruesselsheim, near Frankfurt.
GM and Peugeot confirmed Tuesday that they were in advanced
talks that could lead to the sale of GM's Opel and Vauxhall units
to French car maker Peugeot.
