Republic Bank announced today that it has opened its 45th and newest banking center at 333 West Vine Street, Lexington Kentucky at the corner of Vine and Mill Streets in the Vine Center.

“We see the opening of the downtown Lexington banking center as a way to make banking ‘easier’ for our clients, and enhance our successful community banking model in Lexington,” said Republic Bank Market President Todd Ziegler. “This centrally located full-service banking center in downtown Lexington will have a full team of personal and business bankers to meet local deposit and loan demand, along with full treasury-management capabilities to serve both commercial and consumer depository needs.”

“Our decision to open this new banking center is part of our commitment to our clients to respond to their needs for a strong community bank in the downtown Lexington area,” said Republic Bank Chairman and CEO Steve Trager.

“We are 100% focused on providing clients with the best financial services in Lexington by putting our strong local team of bankers to work in our new downtown location,” Ziegler said.

The banking center will also feature an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM). This ITM will allow clients to perform the following: deposit cash and checks without a deposit envelope or ticket; cash checks; transfer funds between accounts; withdraw money from their accounts without a debit or ATM card; and make loan payments. Republic Bank also provides enhanced customer service by offering state-of-the-art Internet and mobile-banking services. Clients can access their bank accounts on a 24/7 basis through their computers, phones or other mobile devices, and can even apply online for a new account.
