LONDON--Advertising giant WPP PLC (WPP.LN) Wednesday said its media intelligence company Kantar Media has acquired Newsaccess Ltd, an Irish media monitoring company with gross assets of around 1.8 million euros ($1.9 million).

Shares at 1449 GMT, up 4 pence, or 0.2%, at 1848 pence valuing the company at GBP23.67 billion.
