Umpqua Bank, a subsidiary of Umpqua Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:UMPQ), has been named Oregon's Most Admired Financial Services Company by The Portland Business Journal. Umpqua has been named Oregon's Most Admired Financial Services Company every year since the award was introduced twelve years ago.

A statewide poll of CEOs and top executives across Oregon chose this year's company winners based on criteria including innovation, quality of management, community involvement, quality of products and services, and branding and marketing.

2016 Umpqua Bank Highlights:

• Umpqua Bank and the Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation announced four new Impact Grants totaling $500,000 to nonprofit organizations in Oregon and California. This giving primarily focused on creating economic opportunity for all in the communities that Umpqua Bank serves, with a special commitment to educational attainment for youth.
• Pivotus Ventures, a subsidiary of Umpqua Holdings Corporation, announced an international innovation collaboration with United Kingdom’s Nationwide Building Society to advance bank innovation.
• Umpqua launched a “Stop the Summer Slide” initiative to counter the impact of summer learning loss through a public awareness campaign.  
• Offered a Disaster Relief Lending Program to support customers in communities affected by natural disasters including wildfires, earthquakes and floods.
