New Home in Poulsbo’s Mountain Aire Community Wins “Home Design” Category

Quadrant Homes recently added another trophy to their case with the coveted “Best Home Design Award,” presented at the 2016 New Home Council Tribute Awards ceremony. Bellevue-based Quadrant Homes won for “Best Single Family Home Design Between 2,400 to 2,999 Square Feet,” for the design of an entry-level family home for sale in Quadrant’s Mountain Aire community in Poulsbo, Washington. The design is also available in Quadrant’s communities in Monroe (the Evergreen Heights community) and Gig Harbor (The Enclave at Harbor Hill).

“We’re very proud to add this award to our list of accolades,” said Ken Krivanec, president of Quadrant Homes. “Quadrant puts the highest level of precision, craftsmanship, and quality into every home we build, and this home is a shining example.”

The winning home plan was designed for Mountain Aire, a premier community surrounded by stunning views of Kitsap County. Brand-new home designs start in the low $400s, and range from 2,400 to 3,000 square feet, offering flexible floorplans with the latest design options. Buyers can personalize their home with Quadrant’s Flex Options, which are designed by homebuilding experts for maximum livability.

The Tribute-winning home design is a two-story, entry-level family home that showcases a modern interpretation of the craftsman style, with a focus on flexible functionality that allows each owner to personalize the home. Judges noted the layout’s clean look, with glass used as a siding element to fill both floors of the house with natural light. The open floor plan uses a forward placement of the dining area that flows into the kitchen area, creating a sense of spaciousness that feels much larger than the home’s square footage would suggest. The home’s main floor also features a bedroom setup designed for intergenerational living and a flexible room that can be used as anything from a pantry to a home management center. The second floor is equipped with three bedrooms and a loft space that can be used as another living room or a bedroom.

National award-winning architect Michael Woodley partnered with Quadrant on the home’s design. “We combined the best local building talent with design from a winning national architect to create something buyers can’t find anywhere else,” said Krivanec. “From the innovative design to painstaking craftsmanship, this is a superior place to call home.”

Interested buyers can learn more about the Mountain Aire community on Quadrant’s website, where they can also customize their layout and explore personal touches for their home. To see the community, visit http://www.quadranthomes.com/find-your-home/mountain-aire/.
