EMPLOYERS® Names Ray Wise as Senior Vice President, Chief Sales Officer

EMPLOYERS® (NYSE:EIG), America's small business insurance specialist®, has named Ray Wise as senior vice president, chief sales officer for EMPLOYERS. With almost 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Wise brings to EMPLOYERS expertise in the fields of Sales and Marketing. This position reports directly to the chief operating officer, and is responsible for leading sales and account management, business development, product development, distribution channel management, marketing communications, agency administration and market research efforts.

Wise held various positions with increasing responsibilities that will add a valued contribution to the EMPLOYERS organization. For the past four years, Wise has served as president of Vanliner Insurance Company. Prior positions include chief sales and marketing officer, business insurance, for CNA Financial and senior positions with The Hartford. Wise holds a BS, Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Wise is based in Reno, Nev.
