announced Mark Charnock as the new
Chief Digital Officer of Reach Media and the Local Radio One Group
during a recent quarterly earnings call. Liggins said, "We
have made a significant new hire for our local digital business,

Mark Charnock comes to Reach
Media and Radio One most recently from Monster as Senior Vice
President, Media and Sales at Monster, a company he had been with
for 13 years in various sales positions of increasing
responsibility. Charnock is a strategic, multi-faceted and
entrepreneurial sales professional with proven success as a leader
in both start-up and established media firms. Building
infrastructure and growing business capacity and digital revenue
streams is what Charnock has become respected for over his
progressive 23 year career. His expertise in web-based
products and sales, including starting three companies is expected
to be a good fit in the Radio One, soon to be renamed, Urban One
entrepreneurial, multi-media culture.
