Materialise NV (Nasdaq:MTLS), a world leading 3D printing
solutions provider has drawn the attention of global healthcare,
technology and manufacturing companies for its expertise in
end-to-end 3D printing solutions across a variety of industries.
With more than 26 years of experience in the industry, Materialise
software and services act as the backbone of the 3D printing
industry, helping partners efficiently develop and implement
solutions for their customers and improving access to the
cost-savings and customization benefits of 3D printing.
While many companies have seen the value of 3D printing in
recent years, many have only recently begun exploring the
technology. Materialise’s extensive experience in the industry has
positioned the company as the partner of choice for companies
interested in the benefits of 3D printing, but do not have the
technical expertise and technology to implement full solutions for
their customers. A growing number of Fortune 500 companies
including HP and Microsoft have already turned to Materialise for
their 3D printing software and service needs.
In the medical industry, Materialise works with partners to
deliver 3D printed anatomical models that offer healthcare
professionals tools to improve and personalize patient care. These
models can be used in patient communication and to provide a
tangible representations of the anatomy. Created using the right
tools or qualified services, these models can also be valuable
tools for planning complex surgeries. 3D printing technology is
taking center stage at the 2016 RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual
Meeting, taking place November 27 through December 2, 2016 at the
McCormick Place in Chicago.
“Anatomical models are the new standard of care in hospitals,
and our partners are facing increased demand for convenient and
complete 3D printing solutions to deliver the models to their
customers,” said Wilfried Vancraen, founder and CEO of Materialise.
“Materialise has a sole focus on 3D printing, and our partners see
the value they are able to deliver to customers with our assistance
and expertise in the field. Our solutions are open and flexible, so
we are able to provide the backbone for any 3D printing
implementation desired. This flexibility and expertise is why new
partners continue to choose Materialise for 3D printing software
and service needs.”
At the 2016 RSNA Scientific Assemble and Annual Meeting, two
additional healthcare industry imaging and hardware companies have
turned to Materialise to help develop 3D printed anatomical models
for their customers.
Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in medical imaging,
laboratory diagnostics, and healthcare information technology, will
use Materialise Mimics technology to help healthcare providers
bring 3D printing operations in house. Through this partnership,
clinicians will be able to 3D print complex anatomical models
directly from their Siemens environment. This program is on display
in Siemens Healthineers’ exhibit, located at RSNA, located at booth
#1936.
Carestream, a worldwide provider of dental and medical imaging
systems and healthcare IT solutions, will leverage Materialise’s
AnatomyPrint 3D printing service to improve access to anatomical
models for radiologists and other healthcare professionals. This
program is on display in Carestream’s exhibit at RSNA, located at
booth #4704 in South Hall A.
Materialise software and services are also on display in its
exhibit at RSNA, located at booth #7808 in North Hall B.
