Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On November 14, 2016, Delta Apparel, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release containing a discussion of the Company's preliminary results of operations for the quarter ended October 1, 2016.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

Robert W. Humphreys, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Deborah H. Merrill, Chief Financial Officer and President, Delta Basics, will hold a conference call on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss financial results and provide a business update. The conference call will be broadcast through the Company’s website at www.deltaapparelinc.com. Investors may listen to the call by selecting the webcast link on the homepage of the website.
