On October 13, 2016, EnteroMedics Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release urging its shareholders of record at the close of business on September 14, 2016 to vote FOR all of the management proposals at the special meeting of shareholders to be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 (the “Special Meeting”). A copy of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
