"Company") today announced the appointment of Zheqiang Xie to Head
North Asia. Mr. Xie is a senior executive who significantly
enhances the Company's existing leadership team, and will support
the continued execution of its Asian business unit's development
strategy.
In this newly created position, Mr. Xie will oversee the
operations of TransRe's Hong Kong
Branch Office and Shanghai
Representative Office. He joins TransRe's Asia Pacific senior management team, and will
be responsible for driving the Company's strategic planning and
business development in this fast growing region. Mr. Xie is a
proven executive with more than 25 years of industry experience,
having held senior management positions with PICC, China Re, Lloyd's and most recently as CEO of XL
Insurance (China) Company Limited in Shanghai.
