Item 8.01. Other Events.

On September 15, 2016, Finjan Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that on September 13, 2016, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted its wholly-owned subsidiary, Finjan, Inc. (“Finjan”), U.S. Patent No. 9,444,844 entitled “Malicious Mobile Code Runtime Monitoring System and Methods”.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
