WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/
-- Tecogen® Inc. (NASDAQ: TGEN),
provider of clean energy products which, through patented
technology, nearly eliminate criteria pollutants and significantly
reduce a customer's carbon footprint, is pleased to announce that
Co-Chief Executive Officer Benjamin
Locke will be a featured speaker on a panel discussion at
the CHP Association's Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Conference.
Taking place at Nationals Park in Washington DC on September 14, 2016, this year's event will focus
on current challenges and opportunities for combined heat and
power, especially within the utility model. Mr. Locke will be
speaking on an afternoon panel discussion entitled "CHP and
Multifamily Housing" with the discussion focusing on the benefits
of CHP use for multi-family housing and promotion of its deployment
for this segment of the market.
"Building resiliency and energy efficiency are big concerns for
customers in the multi-family residential segment and those trends
are only getting more pronounced. Our new InVerde e+, launched this
spring, is really resonating with the multi-family residential
customer by offering a two-for-one solution that solves both these
problems," Mr. Locke noted.
The CHP Association brings together diverse market interests to
promote the growth of clean, efficient, local energy generation in
the United States. Established in
1996 to promote the merits of combined heat and power, the
Association's mission is to increase deployment of CHP and waste
energy recovery systems to benefit the environment and the
economy.
