Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) Thursday that part of its refinery in Texas City, Texas, suffered a power interruption.

In a filing sent to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the refinery called the incident an "isolated power interruption in complex 3," adding that it caused emissions of gases Thursday morning that lasted less than an hour.

The 225,000-barrel-a-day refinery is located 40 miles southeast of Houston, on the Texas City Ship Channel.
