While Motley Fool tries their best to be “professionally” well-tempered about the marijuana sector highlighting fundamental indicators that should discourage investors, even they can’t help being (kinda) bullish. After presidential hopeful Governor John Kasich signed House Bill 523 into law making Ohio the 25^th state to legalize medical marijuana, Motely Fool published the mostly upbeat article titled “Hello to the 25^th and Newest State a to Legalize Medical Marijuana.” The highbrow folks at the Motley Fool concentrated their article largely on the Pharmaceutical applications of marijuana featuring GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH), and they did so mostly in a positive manner (all good info, but we enjoy the more fun applications). The Motley Fool crew, of course, concluded the article with professionally worded fundamental industry warnings - as though marijuana sector performance is following any fundamentals.

With only 50 million shares issued and out; a year of quietly developing standardized and repeatable extraction processes to produce consistently high quality cannabis concentrates, and now introducing a smart go to market plan to brand their extracts … in light of a seemingly infinite number of opportunities to collaboratively infuse their extracts into existing consumer products, we think this PPS has the opportunity to rocket to the moon.
