AstraZeneca Infection Treatment Zavicefta Approved in EU

LONDON--AstraZeneca PLC (AZN) on Tuesday announced that the
European Commission has approved the use of its infection treatment
Zavicefta.
The drug, which is used to treat urinary tract infections,
pneumonia and other conditions, can now be marketed in all 28
European Union countries as well as Iceland, Norway and
Liechtenstein, Astra said.
